WTF is with Google

First they "enhanced" Youtube page layout. They made comments section very hard to read, removed "stars" rating and made new ratings visible only after you rate the video, and even then you can only see rating on video's page. Then they "enhanced" youtube player, moving sound controls to "play/pause" button and navigation bar on video frame.

Now they "enhanced" Google Search layout: filter results menu on the left, then tiny narrow results column, then narrow but very long "sponsoredtop links" column and wi-i-i-i-i-de empty space.
