Because people dared to criticize his book for the gender existentialist, sexist piece it is, his sycophants have commented with all kinds of comments, including rape trolling. His false, manipulative whining led to the suspension of entries detailing his history of offensive statements in Livejournal as well.
Sadly, the internet's forever, and we have the entry that he's tried so hard to erase here.
And since he's trying so hard to erase all criticism for his book, here are some quotes that shatter his claim of Hollowstone being 'marginalized reader friendly', makes you wonder why he didn't hire an editor, and makes you realize why its self-published.

I spun on my heel to face the figure. Tall and muscular, if I had to guess, he was probably a quarterback. Sandy blond hair, sharp blue eyes, he wore a disarming smirk.
“I’m sorry?” I said.
“Cindy Robbins and Toni Marrett. Two of the most stuck up skanks at this school. I would know. I did them both in a hot tub last month.”
“They haven’t kicked you out of school, yet?” Phyllis asked.
“No, they’ve been too busy dealing with that gonorrhea outbreak of yours.”
“Alone in the room, my curiosity got the better of me. Besides, what harm was there in “casually” observing anything that might be on the desk? There were no pictures so I had no clue as to what this guy looked like. On his desk sat a sleek black laptop, various car and sports magazines and an assortment of classic literary novels as well as Shang Tzu’s The Art of War. Writer, philosopher, and legendary bad boy, he was going to be a handful.”
This is a brief selection of quotes I found offensive and problematic, but there's plenty more (83 pages, to be exact).
And becauseneo_prodigy will try to spin this as 'white women hating on him', I'd like to remind him that I don't hate him because of his status as a gay, black man—I dislike him because he’s a manipulative, lying misogynist, who paints himself as a bastion of social justice while oppressing and erasing the voices of other oppressed groups, especially women, while profiting for being an inclusive, progressive writer.
He's an egotist and a hypocrite, and as a woman of color (not a white woman, his world is shattering!) and a rape survivor who's been harassed for speaking out against him, I have no problems calling him out on his hypocritical, self-serving tactics.
Also, his book's just terrible and as an English major, I believe writers should be held accountable for their problematic writing and take criticisms with grace, as that's just professional.
P.S: I got Hollowstone through an exchange at my college's minority studies program, so if Mr. Upkins would like to sue for 'copyright infringement', he can direct his complaints to the University of Kansas City-Missouri (UMKC).
Needless to say, no one in our program liked this book.

Generation-X Emma Frost, the shit!!! This train wreck right here, a hot mess. The writers (read: straight white male fanboys) have reduced a powerful and respected femme fatale to some posable fuck puppet (who no one respects but only tolerate because she's sleeping with Scott) who deflects her constant lying, scheming and insecurities with cattiness with other female X-Men members.
