Our "parliament" passed the law about counteraction against money laundering. According to this law, anyone who buys real estate on more than 400 000 UAH (~50 500 USD) or jewellery, car or antiques on more than 150 000 UAH (~19 000 USD) will automatically find themselves in "black list" and their sources of income will be thoroughly investigated.

FYI: apartment in Kyiv costs 1957 USD for m² on average (on June 11).

Chapter 2. Rights and Freedoms of Man and Citizen

Article 21

1. Human dignity shall be protected by the State. Nothing may serve as a basis for its derogation.

2. No one shall be subject to torture, violence or other severe or humiliating treatment or punishment. No one may be subject to medical, scientific and other experiments without voluntary consent.

Article 22

1. Everyone shall have the right to freedom and personal immunity.

2. Arrest, detention and remanding in custody shall be allowed only by court decision. Without the court's decision a person may be detained for a term more than 48 hours.

Article 23

1. Everyone shall have the right to the inviolability of private life, personal and family secrets, the protection of honour and good name.

2. Everyone shall have the right to privacy of correspondence, of telephone conversations, postal, telegraph and other messages. Limitations of this right shall be allowed only by court decision.

Article 25

The home shall be inviolable. No one shall have the right to get into a house against the will of those living there, except for the cases established by a federal law or by court decision.

Москалька росіянка обурюється тим, що в її присутності естонці в Таллінні не переходять на російську:

Недавно ко мне приезжали в гости московские друзья. Они отметили сразу невежливость эстонского населения по отношению к русским. Например, они сидели на уличной площадке одного из ресторанов на улице Виру в Таллинне. Рядом, за соседним столом, веселилась компания, причем они разговаривали не по-русски. Мои гости сделали им замечание: невежливо в присутствии людей, не понимающих чужого языка, разговаривать на иностранном, ведь это мог быть разговор, оскорбительный для москвичей. Но эстонцы, а это были именно они, ответили, что они говорят на родном, а не иностранном языке.

Они не поняли сути: так как мои гости не владели местным наречием, то со стороны гуляк было бы простой данью вежливости и в согласии с правилами гостеприимства перейти на русский. Но они поступили по-хамски и продолжали свои разговоры не по-русски. Моим друзьям пришлось покинуть это заведение, где по отношению к ним был проявлен чванливый национализм.

Тем более, и официантка разговаривала с ними со скрытым вызовом и с явственным нарочитым акцентом.
