Russians outrage because English newspaper published gross misogynistic remarks of Russian gynecologist (working in UK) and called this remarks "fascinating, if sometimes uncomfortable, reading":

Some call this publication a "dirty anti-doctor slander". Others resent stupid, stupid English people who thought that gynecologist's remarks were inappropriate and blame those man-hatin' idiotic feminist bitches.

In Russia women in childbirth are generally treated like non-human beings who dare to interrupt doctors' and nurses' dolce far niente. They aren't told what's being done to them, every kind of insults is shouted at them for any reason: wanting an anesthesia ("You knew how to spread your legs, slut, now endure this!"), wanting a warm place or at least warm cover, wanting to be treated with kindness ("Shut up bitch! Pain? So what? Give birth faster, bitch, people are waiting!"), wanting information about their treatment ("None of your business!"), wanting their children to be with them (newborns are taken away from mothers for "procedures" for many hours), wanting to see their husband (yes, husbands are not allowed to be present at childbirth in Russia), and so on. No wonder this doctor is ranting about English women: he'd like to treat them same way he would treat his patients in Russia, but he'd lost his job in UK if he dared so.
